Jeremiah, 11

19. But I [was] like a lamb [or] an ox [that] is brought to the slaughter; and I knew not that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with the fruit thereof, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered.

However, I will remember my covenant with you in the days of your youth, and establish an eternal covenant with you . " This verse speaks of God's faithfulness to his covenant, even when his people do not fulfill it, and his promise of an eternal covenant with them.

Psalm 25:10: "All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth to those who keep their covenant and their testimonies." This verse speaks of the importance of obedience to the covenant with God and the promise of mercy and truth to those who keep it.
