Chapter 3 of the Book of Proverbs contains several teachings about wisdom, justice and prudence, as well as encouraging obedience to God and confidence in His ways. The verses selected below address these themes and relate to the chapter in question:

Proverbs 2:6 - "For the Lord gives wisdom, his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." As in Proverbs 3, this verse highlights the importance of wisdom that comes from God.
