2 Chronicles, 33

11. Therefore the LORD brought against them the army commanders of the Assyrian king; they took Manasseh with hooks, shackled him with chains, and transported him to Babylon.

" This verse talks about God's response to humility and repentance, indicating that he is willing to forgive and hear those who turn to him.

2 Corinthians 7:10: "For sadness according to God produces repentance for salvation, which to no one brings weighing; but the sadness of the world produces death." This verse highlights the importance of sadness and pain in the Christian life, pointing out that it can lead to repentance and salvation.
