Genesis, 24

14. Let the maiden to whom I shall say, `Pray let down your jar that I may drink,' and who shall say, `Drink, and I will water your camels' -- let her be the one whom thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac. By this I shall know that thou hast shown steadfast love to my master."

In Genesis 24, Abraham asks his oldest servant, who is faithful to him, find a wife to Isaac among Abraham's relatives in his homeland. The servant then makes a trip and finds Rebeca, who agrees to marry Isaac. 2 Corinthians 6:14: "Don't put yourself in unequal yoke with disbelief. For what do justice and evil have? Or what communion can light with darkness?" This verse also emphasizes the importance of choosing a spouse that shares the same faith and religious values.
