Chapter 1 of Ruth's book tells the story of Naomi and his family, which leave their homeland in search of food and prosperity in a foreign country. From there, she decides to return to her homeland, but encourages her daughters -in -law, Ruth and Orfa, to stay in Moab and find new husbands. Deuteronomy 10:18-19: "He does justice to the orphan and the widow, loves the foreigner, giving him bread and clothing. Therefore, love foreigners, for you were foreigners in Egypt."
