Job, 37

12. He himself guides their wheeling motion presiding over their seasonal changes. They carry out his orders to the letter all over this earthly world.

Job 37 is a chapter in which Eliú continues to talk about God's greatness, the power of nature, and the inability of man to completely understand God's ways. Below are five verses related to these themes:

Job 36:26: "Behold, God is great and we cannot understand Him; the number of his years is unscruable." This verse emphasizes God's greatness and incomprehensibility, a central theme in Job 37.

Job 38:4: "Where were you when I founded the earth? I know if you have intelligence." God is questioning Job about his ability to understand God's ways, highlighting the idea that man is unable to totally understand God's greatness.

Psalm 147:5: "Great is our Lord, and of great power; his understanding is infinite." This verse highlights the greatness of God and his incomprehensible wisdom.

Isaiah 40:26: "Get your eyes up, and see, who created these things? He who makes his army out of stars, all well -told, which he calls his names; for being great in strength and Strong in power, not only one is missing. Psalm 29:4: "The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty." This verse talks about God's powerful voice, another theme present in Job 37.
