Tobit, 9

1. Then Tobias called Raphael, and said unto him,

2. Brother Azarias, take with thee a servant, and two camels, and go to Rages of Media to Gabael, and bring me the money, and bring him to the wedding.

3. For Raguel hath sworn that I shall not depart.

4. But my father counteth the days; and if I tarry long, he will be very sorry.

5. So Raphael went out, and lodged with Gabael, and gave him the handwriting: who brought forth bags which were sealed up, and gave them to him.

6. And early in the morning they went forth both together, and came to the wedding: and Tobias blessed his wife.

Chapter 9 of the book of Tobias tells Tobias's prayer after his return to his father's house safely, accompanied by his wife and the fortune he had recovered. He praises God and asks his mercy and continuous protection for himself and his family. The verses related to the topics covered in Tobias 9 are:

Psalm 86:5: "For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in kindness to all who invoke you." Tobias refers to God's goodness and mercy, asking him to be equally generous with him and his family.

Psalm 18:1-2: "I will love you, O Lord, my fortress. The Lord is my rock, and my strong place, and my liberator; my God, my fortress, whom I trust; Shield, the strength of my salvation, and my high refuge. " Tobias praises God as his fortress and liberator, recognizing that He is the source of his protection and salvation.

Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust the Lord of all your heart, and do not stir in your own understanding. Recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." Tobias demonstrates his confidence in God and his willingness to depend on him in every aspect of his life.

Isaiah 41:10: "Do not fear, because I am with you; do not haunt yourself, because I am your God; I strengthen you, and help you, and I support you with my faithful right hand." Tobias finds comfort in God's promise to be with Him and help him, strengthen him, and support him.

1 John 5:14: "And this is the confidence we have in him: that if we ask for something according to his will, he hears us." Tobias trusts that his prayers will be heard by God and that He will respond according to His will.
