Ezekiel, 27

3. And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I [am] of perfect beauty.

Ezekiel 27 describes the city of Tire and its greatness, but also predicts its fall. Isaiah 23:8 - "Who decreed this about Tire, who distributed crowns whose traders were princes and whose traders were the noblest on earth?" This verse describes the wealth and position of shooting as an important shopping center.

Proverbs 16:18 - "arrogance precedes destruction; pride precedes the fall." This verse highlights the central shot problem, which has become arrogant and confident in his own strength rather than recognizing God as a sovereign.
