Exodus, 33

1. And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, [and] go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. In this chapter Moses asks God to accompany him and guide the people of Israel on the journey to the promised land, and God promises that His presence will go with them. Exodus 33:14, "He said, My presence will with you, and I will give you rest." This verse shows God's promise to Moses that his presence will accompany him on the journey with the people of Israel. This shows the importance of God's presence to Moses and the people.

Deuteronomy 31:8: "The Lord, for it is the one who goes before you; He will be with you, will not let you, nor will you forsaken you; Here we see God's promise to Joshua, successor of Moses, that his presence will go with him in the leadership of the people. This shows the continuation of the relationship between God and the people of Israel, and the importance of God's presence for leadership.

Deuteronomy 31:23: "And he gave order to Joshua, the son of Num, saying, Strive and have good cheer, because thou shalt make the children of Israel into the land that I have sworn to them; and I will be with you." Joshua 1:9: "I am not sending me? Strive and have good encouragement; do not fear, not even amazing; for the Lord your God is with you, wherever you walk." Psalm 23:4: "Although I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no harm, because you are with me; your stick and your staff comfort me." This verse highlights the presence of God as a source of comfort and protection for the psalmist, showing the importance of God's presence in difficult times.
