Exodus 30 deals with the making of the altar of incense, the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel, the washing bronze basin and the mixture of sacred oil. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in the chapter, excluding Exodus 30 verses:
Ezekiel 8:11: "And before them was the man standing, his right hand raised to the East; and worshiped the sun, putting himself to his left side." This verse talks about the idolatrous practice of worshiping the sun, which is contrary to the law of God. This relates to Exodus 30, which speaks of the offer of atonement of the middle-shekel as a form of redemption of God's people.
2 Chronicles 4:6: "He also did ten basins, and put five on the right and five on the left to wash them; the work of the Holocaust washed in them, but the basin was for the priests to wash."
