Exodus, 9

29. Moses said to him, 'The moment I leave the city I shall stretch out my hands to Yahweh. The thunder will stop, and there will be no more hail, so that you may know that the earth belongs to Yahweh.

In Exodus 9, God continues to send pests about Egypt as a way of showing his power and forcing Pharaoh to free the people from Israel. Pests include the death of cattle, ulcers in animals and humans, hail and grasshops.

Job 37:13: "He makes them fall, whether to discipline or to demonstrate his merciful love." This verse talks about how God uses natural events to discipline or show mercy to human beings, which can be applied to the sending of pests to Egypt in Exodus 9.
