St. Matthew 15 talks about the controversies between Jesus and the Pharisees regarding religious rituals and traditions. Isaiah 29:13: "The Lord says, 'These people approach me with the mouth and honor me with the lips, but their hearts are far from me. The worship that gives me is made only of rules taught by men. '"This verse relates to Jesus' criticism of the Pharisees for following human traditions rather than God's commandments.
Isaiah 6:9-10: "The Lord said, 'Go and say to this people," Though you hear, you will never understand; Although they see, they will never realize. ”'This verse is quoted by Jesus when he explains why He speaks in parables, so that only those with spiritual ears can understand the truth.
