Ruth, 2

20. "May he be blessed by the LORD, who is ever merciful to the living and to the dead," Naomi exclaimed to her daughter-in-law; and she continued, "He is a relative of ours, one of our next of kin."

Ruth 2 deals with the story of Ruth, a Moabite widow who will harvest ears in the field of Boaz, a relative close to her late husband. In this chapter, Boaz's generosity and kindness is presented, which allows Ruth to collect ears in her field and still protects her and cares for her.
