Leviticus, 1

17. Then, having split the bird down the middle without separating the halves, the priest shall burn it on the altar, over the wood on the fire, as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.

This verse presents the law of the Holocaust, which should be kept at the altar bonfire all night and the fire should be lit in it.

Leviticus 17:11 - "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given you to do atonement for themselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for life." This verse highlights the importance of blood in sacrifices, which was a form of atonement for the sins of the people.

Leviticus 22:19-20 - "If you offer a defective animal, this will not be accepted for you. It will not be accepted in your favor, because it is defective." This verse highlights the importance of observance of sacred days, when the people should offer sacrifices to the Lord as a form of worship.
