Jeremiah, 8

12. They are odious; they have done abominable things, yet they are not at all ashamed, they know not how to blush. Hence they shall be among those who fall; in their time of punishment they shall go down, says the LORD.

Chapter 8 of Jeremiah deals with the unbelief and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, which refuses to recognize the seriousness of their sins and to turn to God. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near. Leave the wicked his way, and the evil man his thoughts; turn to the Lord, who shall be sympathetic to him; To our God, because it is abundant in forgiving. " This verse encourages people to seek God as long as there is time, abandoning their sinful ways and turning to the Lord, who is abundant in forgiving.
