Genesis, 28

13. And there was the LORD standing beside him and saying: "I, the LORD, am the God of your forefather Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you are lying I will give to you and your descendants.

Genesis 28 reports the beginning of Jacob's journey, where he runs away from his brother Esau and has a meeting with God in a dream, receiving a promise of blessing. Psalm 139:7-10: "Where will I be absent from your Spirit? Where will I run out of your face? Dawn and I stop in the ends of the seas, still there will be to guide your hand, and your right hand will sustain me. " This verse talks about God's constant presence in our lives, no matter where we are or what we are going through.
