Colossians, 4

12. Epaphras sends you greetings; he is one of you, a slave of Christ (Jesus), always striving for you in his prayers so that you may be perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.

Chapter 4 of Colossians contains Paul's final instructions on colosses and greetings to various people. Paul urges the Colossians to be wise in dealing with non-Christians, to take advantage of all the opportunities for testimony, and to pray that God will open doors to the preaching of the Gospel. He also sends personal greetings to various employees and asks the letter to be read in the church of Laodicea. Following five verses that relate to the topics covered in Colossians 4:

1 Thessalonians 5:17: "Pray without ceasing." This verse emphasizes the importance of prayer, a theme that is also addressed in Colossians 4.
