1 Samuel, 6

3. They replied: "If you intend to send away the ark of the God of Israel, you must not send it alone, but must, by all means, make amends to him through a guilt offering. Then you will be healed, and will learn why he continues to afflict you."

1 Samuel 6 describes the return of the Ark of the Covenant by the Philistines, after suffering several calamities in their cities. The passage talks about how the Philistines planned to return the ark to Israel and how it was received by the people.
