Revelation 5 is a chapter that describes the vision of the heavenly throne of God and the Lamb, which is worthy of opening the book sealed with seven seals. It is a chapter of worship and recognition of the sovereignty of God and the lamb. Here are five Bible verses that relate to the topics covered in Revelation 5:
Isaiah 53:7: "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; as a lamb was taken to the slaughterhouse, and as the sheep changes before his shelters, he did not open his mouth." This verse describes the lamb that is taken to the sacrifice, which can be seen as a reference to the Lamb of God in Revelation 5.
Psalm 24:7-10: "Rise up, O doors, your heads; Rise up, O eternal entrances, that among the King of Glory. Who is this king of glory? Battle.
