Jeremiah, 6

24. We have heard the report of it, our hands fall helpless; anguish has taken hold of us, pain as of a woman in travail.

Jeremiah 6 deals with the rebellion and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, as well as the imminent destruction that would come upon them as a consequence of their sins. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Hosea 14:1: "Convert you, O Israel, to the Lord your God; for by your sins you have fallen." This verse brings a message similar to that of Jeremiah 6, calling God's people to repentance and conversion.
