Exodus, 33

12. Moses said to the LORD, "See, thou sayest to me, `Bring up this people'; but thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, `I know you by name, and you have also found favor in my sight.'

Exodus 33 describes the continuation of Moses's relationship with God after the idolatry of the golden calf. In this chapter Moses asks God to accompany him and guide the people of Israel on the journey to the promised land, and God promises that His presence will go with them.
