1 Samuel 22 narrates David's escape to Adulão, where he meets with others displeased and oppressed who join him. Hebrews 13:5-6-"Be your life exempt from greed, contenting you with what you have; for he himself said, I will not let you, nor will I help you. And so with confidence we dared to say, The Lord is my helper , and I will not fear what the man can do to me. " These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
