Numbers, 18

1. Yahweh then said to Aaron: 'You, your sons and your ancestor's line with you will be answerable for offences against the sanctuary. You and your sons with you will be answerable for the offences of your priesthood.

Chapter 18 of numbers is dedicated to Levi's tribe and his role as tabernacle priests. The following verses are related to the topics dealt with in chapter:

Exodus 29:9: "And you thou bear the belt of pure gold, and you will give the diadem of holiness in your head." This verse describes the preparation of priests for the tabernacle service, including the garment and the diadem they should wear. This passage is related to numbers 18, which deals with the designation of the Levites as priests.

Exodus 30:7-8: "And Aaron will burn smelling incense over him; every morning, when the lamp is tidyed, it will burn it.
