Numbers 17 presents the story of Aaron and his flowered rod. God commanded each leader of the twelve tribes of Israel to deposit his rod in the tabernacle so that the rod of the man who would choose flourish, indicating that this tribe would be chosen by God. The next day, the Aaron Court flourished and produced almonds, proving that God had chosen him to be the high priest. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in numbers 17:
Exodus 4:2-4: "Then the Lord asked him, What is this in your hand? He answered him, a rod. And he said unto him, Line it on earth. He threw it into the earth, and she He became snake; and Moses fled from her. The Lord said to Moses, He reaches his hand and picked up his tail.
