Daniel, 2

39. And, after you, another kingdom will rise, not as great as yours, and then a third, of bronze, which will rule the whole world.

Daniel's chapter 2 presents King Nebuchadnezzar's dream and the interpretation given by Daniel, which reveals to him not only the meaning of the dream, but also details about the future of the kingdoms that would succeed the Babylonian Empire. Proverbs 25:2: "God's glory is to cover things up, but the honor of kings is in discovering them." This verse shows that God is the Lord of mysteries and revelations, and that it is up to Him to the decision of when and how to reveal them.
