1 Corinthians, 2

6. But still, to those who have reached maturity, we do talk of a wisdom, not, it is true, a philosophy of this age or of the rulers of this age, who will not last long now.

1 Corinthians 2 deals with God's wisdom and how it is revealed through the Holy Spirit. Paul argues that this wisdom is not accessible through human wisdom, but only through the Holy Spirit, who enables believers to understand the things of God. Romans 11:33: "O depth of wealth, both of wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unstopable are your judgments, and how unscructable your ways!" This verse highlights the incomprehensibility of God's wisdom and knowledge to the human mind.

1 John 2:20: "And you have anointing from the part of him who is holy, and all have knowledge." This verse highlights the importance of the anointing of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life, which enables knowledge and understanding of God's things.

James 1:5: "And if any of you are lacking wisdom, ask it to God, who gives all liberally, and does not throw him into the face; and be given to him." This verse emphasizes that God's wisdom is available to those who humbly seek it.
