1 Chronicles, 13

6. David and all Israel then went up to Baalah, to Kiriath-Jearim in Judah, from there to bring up the ark of God, which bears the title 'Yahweh enthroned on the winged creatures'.

1 Chronicles 13 describes David's failed attempt to bring the ark from the covenant to Jerusalem. This verse of Deuteronomy highlights the importance of obedience to God's commandments. David failed to obey God's instructions to transport the ark and, as a result, faced serious consequences.

Psalm 89:7: "God is very terrible in the Assembly of the Saints, and to be revered by all around him." The Ark of the Covenant was a symbol of God's presence, and David understood the importance of reverence it. This verse of Psalm 89 highlights the importance of revering God and His presence.

Psalm 96:9: "Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; I trembled before him all the earth." David acknowledged the importance of worshiping God properly. This verse of Psalm 96 highlights the importance of worshiping God in the beauty of holiness.

Proverbs 28:13: "Which covers your transgressions will never prosper, but what confesses them and will reach mercy." When Uzzá touched the ark of the covenant, he was disobeying God. David recognized his mistake and regretted. This verse of proverbs highlights the importance of confessing our sins and repenting before God.

Leviticus 10:3: "And Moses said to Aaron, This is what the Lord said, saying, I will be sanctified in those who come to me and be glorified before all the people."
