Jeremiah, 8

13. I will surely consume them, saith the LORD: [there shall be] no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall fade; and [the things that] I have given them shall pass away from them.

Chapter 8 of Jeremiah deals with the unbelief and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, which refuses to recognize the seriousness of their sins and to turn to God. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near.
