Jeremiah, 6

6. For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this [is] the city to be visited; she [is] wholly oppression in the midst of her.

Versi relativi a Jeremiah, 6:

Jeremiah 6 deals with the rebellion and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, as well as the imminent destruction that would come upon them as a consequence of their sins. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Hosea 14:1: "Convert you, O Israel, to the Lord your God; for by your sins you have fallen." This verse brings a message similar to that of Jeremiah 6, calling God's people to repentance and conversion.

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near.
