" This verse warns God's people against seeking help in Egypt rather than trusting God. The judgment message in Ezekiel 29 is a direct consequence of this lack of confidence in God.
Exodus 7:5: "And the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord, when he extend my hand over Egypt, and take the children of Israel out of them."
