Esther, 16

5. Oftentimes also fair speech of those, that are put in trust to manage their friends' affairs, hath caused many that are in authority to be partakers of innocent blood, and hath enwrapped them in remediless calamities:

1 Chronicles 16:35-"And say, Save ourselves, O God of our salvation, and gather us, and deliver us from the nations, that we may praise your holy name and glorize ourselves in your praise." Proverbs 3:6 - "recognizes him in all your ways, and he will straighten your paths." Philippians 2:3 - "You do nothing by strife or by boasting, but by humility; each consider the others superior to themselves." 1 Peter 5:6 - "humiliate you, therefore, under the powerful hand of God, that it may be exalted to you;" This verse talks about the importance of humility and submission to God, trusting that He will exalt those who are faithful to Him. This can be related to Mordecai's attitude to trust God's righteousness and wait patiently for his providence.
