20. And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made a pool, and a conduit, and brought water into the city, [are] they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

Chapter 20 of 2 kings relates the story of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who badly gets sick. God sends the prophet Isaiah to tell Hezekiah that He will die, but Hezekiah pray to God and asks his life to be spared. God meets your prayer and gives you 15 years of life. Hezekiah asks for a sign of God to confirm that He will be healed and God shares the sun back down 10 degrees as a signal for Hezekiah. Below are five verses related to the topics covered in 2 Kings 20.

Psalm 30:2: "Lord my God, I cry to help, and you heal me." This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah by praying to God for healing in his illness.

Isaiah 38:1: "In those days, Hezekiah became sick and almost died. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, went to him and said, 'Thus saith the Lord, Give your family orders, because you will die; will not recover '. " This verse introduces the theme of Hezekiah's disease and God's intervention through the prophet Isaiah.

Isaiah 38:4: "Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah: 'Go and say Hezekiah: Thus saith the Lord, the God of David, his Father: I heard his prayer and I saw his tears; I will add fifteen years to his life '. " This verse shows God's response to the prayer of Hezekiah and his willingness to listen and meet the king's prayer.

" This verse shows the attitude of Hezekiah after his healing, which was praising God for his mercy and faithfulness.
