2 Chronicles, 8

11. And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because [the places are] holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.

2 Chronicles 8 reports how Solomon built several cities and fortresses, as well as establishing commercial routes and taxes for the Kingdom of Israel. He also built a palace for himself and one for Pharaoh's daughter, who became his wife. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in 2 Chronicles 8:

1 Kings 9:10-11: "After twenty years, in which Solomon built the two houses, namely the house of the Lord and the house of the king, Hiram, king of Tire, provided the Solomon Madeira de Cedro and of Pine and gold, according to all his desire, then, gave King Solomon to twenty cities in the land of Galilee. " This verse talks about the agreement between Solomon and King Hiram to provide wood and gold for the construction of the temple and the palace, as well as the donation of cities by Solomon to Hiram.

1 Kings 9:14: "And Hirão sent to the king one hundred and twenty gold talents." This verse describes King Hirão's contribution to the temple and palace construction.
