2 Chronicles, 3

3. Now these [are the things wherein] Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure [was] threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.

2 Chronicles 3 describes the construction of Solomon's temple in Jerusalem. The chapter details the dimensions and materials used in the construction of the temple, including the saint of saints, the cherubim and the fine linen curtain. The chapter also mentions the labor involved in construction, including artisans and skilled sculptors.

1 Kings 6:7 - "And as she built the house, she was erected with stones already prepared in the quarry, so that neither the hammer nor the ax or any other iron tool were heard in the house while she was built." This verse describes the construction of Solomon's temple and is a direct continuation of the report in 2 chronicles 3.

2 Chronicles 3:5 - "The great figures of cherubim sculpted in gold -covered olive wood were placed in the saint of saints." This verse describes the installation of cherubim in the saint of saints, an important part of the temple of Solomon.

Exodus 25:22 - "There, above the propitiatory, between the two cherubim that are on the ark of the covenant, I will talk to you about all that I command you about the Israelites." " This verse establishes the place of the construction of the temple, showing that Solomon followed his father David's plan.
