1 Samuel, 22

1 Samuel 22 narrates David's escape to Adulão, where he meets with others displeased and oppressed who join him. Psalm 57:1 - "It has mercy on me, O God, has mercy on me, because my soul trusts you; and in the shadow of your wings shelter, until the calamities pass." " These verses encourage believers not to give in to greed and to trust the Lord as his helper and protector, just as David did during his Saul escape.
