2 Corinthians, 5

10. For we must all be manifested before the judgement seat of Christ, that every one may receive the proper things of the body, according as he hath done, whether it be good or evil.

Versi relativi a 2 Corinthians, 5:

Chapter 5 of 2 Corinthians talks about the Christian perspective of death and eternal life. Paul discusses the importance of being in Christ and the impact this has on our life and our final destination. It also talks about our responsibility as Christ ambassadors to share the message of reconciliation with God. Here are five verses related to these themes:

Romans 8:38-39: "For I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, principalists, nor future things, nor potestes, height, nor depth, nor any other creature It can separate us from the love of God, who is in Christ Jesus our Lord. " This verse talks about the security we have in Christ that nothing can separate us from God's love, not even death.

John 11:25-26: "Jesus said unto him, I am resurrection and life. He who believes in me, even though he dies, shall live; and all who lives and believes in me will not die, forever. Jesus promises eternal life to those who believe in them, even if they die physically.

Colossians 3:4: "When Christ, who is our life, manifest himself, then you will manifest with Him in glory." This verse talks about our identity in Christ and the fact that our lives are in it. When he returns, we will be with him in glory.

2 Timothy 1:10: "But it has now been manifested by the appearance of our Savior Jesus Christ, who abolished death, and brought to light life and incorption through the Gospel." Jesus abolished death and brought eternal life through the Gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:20: "So that we are ambassadors of Christ, as if God prayed for us. This verse talks about our responsibility as Christ ambassadors, to share the message of reconciliation with God with those around us.
