Judges, 14

9. Samson scraped the honey into his hands and ate it as he walked. When he reached his parents, he gave them honey and they ate it, too. But he did not tell them he had taken the honey from the lion's carcass.

Judges 14 tells the story of Samson, one of the judges of Israel, who asks his parents to look for a wife for him among the Philistines. They agree, but Samson falls in love with a woman who doesn't please her parents. During the wedding, Samson proposes a riddle to the party guests, who is only resolved with the help of Samson's wife. He gets furious and kills thirty Philistine men to fulfill the bet.
