Judite 6 reports the meeting of the rulers of neighboring cities to Israel to discuss the war that was taking place. They decided to unite their strength to attack Israel, but first summoned the leader of the Israelites, Uzziah, to convince him to surrender. O Lord, you are our God; that no man prevails against you. " This verse offers a prayer of trust to God in times of war, reminding us that our security comes from putting our trust in God.
