Jeremiah, 8

13. When gathering, I will gather them together, says the Lord. There are no grapes on the vine, and there are no figs on the fig tree. The leaves have fallen. And I have given them the things that have passed away.”

Chapter 8 of Jeremiah deals with the unbelief and lack of repentance of the people of Judah, which refuses to recognize the seriousness of their sins and to turn to God. Next, I present five verses related to these themes:

Isaiah 55:6-7: "Seek the Lord as long as one can find, invoke him while he is near.
