Baruch, 2

25. And, behold, they have been cast out into the heat of the sun and the frost of the night, and they have died by means of grievous evils, by famine, and by the sword, and by banishment.

Baruc 2 is an Old Testament chapter that presents a penitential prayer written by the prophet Baruc in the name of the people of Israel, who is suffering the consequences of exile in Babylon due to his disobedience to God.
