Chapter 22 of 2 kings reports the discovery of the book of the law in the temple by King Josiah and his subsequent religious reform in Judah. 2 Chronicles 34:31: "And the king set himself standing in his place and made a covenant before the Lord, to walk after the Lord and to keep his commandments, his testimonies and his statutes, of all his heart and of all his soul, fulfilling the words of the covenant that are written in that book. " This verse is similar to the religious reform led by King Josiah, where he pledges to follow God's law.
Nehemiah 8:9-10: "Then Nehemiah (who is the Tirsata) and Ezra, the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people, said to all the people, This day is consecrated to the Lord, your God; sorry, you will not cry. For all the people cried, listening to the words of the law. I said more: go, eat fats, drink sweetness and send portions to those who have nothing prepared for themselves; for this day is consecrated to Our Lord, therefore, do not sadde you, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. " This verse highlights the importance of joy in following God's law and obeying His commandments.
Matthew 4:4: "But he, answering, said, It is written, Not only of bread shall man live, but of every word that comes out of the mouth of God." This verse highlights the importance of God's Word and the need to follow his teachings for spiritual life and guidance.
