2 Kings, 17

41. So these nations feared the LORD, and also served their graven images; their children likewise, and their children's children -- as their fathers did, so they do to this day.

Chapter 17 of the book of 2 kings describes the fall of the kingdom of Israel, which had moved away from God and adopted pagan practices. Deuteronomy 28:64: "And the Lord shall spread you among all peoples from one end of the earth to the other." This verse predicts that if the people of Israel move away from God, he will be dispersed among the nations.

" This verse refers to the worship of idols in Israel, including the veneration of God's star of Remfan, which contributed to the fall of the kingdom of Israel.
