Genesis 14 is a chapter that reports a battle between four kings against five kings, and as Abram rescues his nephew Lot, which had been captured during the battle. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Genesis 14:
Psalm 144:1: "Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands to battle and my fingers to war." This verse speaks of how God prepares us for battle. In Genesis 14, we see that Abram prepared for battle and won his enemies.

This verse speaks of how soldiers should focus on serving the Lord instead of getting involved in earthly issues. In Genesis 14, we see that Abram was more interested in saving his nephew than getting involved in politics.
Ephesians 6:12: "For our struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world of darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places." This verse speaks of how our struggle is not just physical but spiritual. In Genesis 14, we see a physical battle, but also a spiritual battle, with God guiding Abram to victory.
1 Peter 5:8: "Be sober and vigilant. The devil, your enemy, is around like a lion, looking for someone to devour." This verse speaks of how we should be alert against the enemy's attacks. In Genesis 14, we see that Lot was captured because he was not vigilant against his enemies.
2 Corinthians 10:4: "For the weapons of our war are not carnal, but powerful in God for the destruction of fortresses." This verse speaks of how our weapons are spiritual, and how we should trust God to help us in battle. In Genesis 14, we see that Abram trusted God to guide him in battle and secure his victory.
