Ezekiel 27 describes the city of Tire and its greatness, but also predicts its fall. The chapter mentions the wealth and trade of the city, but highlights arrogance and confidence in its own strength, rather than recognizing God as sovereign. Here are five verses related to the topics covered in Ezekiel 27:
Isaiah 23:8 - "Who decreed this about Tire, who distributed crowns whose traders were princes and whose traders were the noblest on earth?" This verse describes the wealth and position of shooting as an important shopping center.
Proverbs 16:18 - "arrogance precedes destruction; pride precedes the fall." This verse highlights the central shot problem, which has become arrogant and confident in his own strength rather than recognizing God as a sovereign.
Jeremiah 25:22 - "All the cities of the kings of Tire, all the cities of the Kings of Sidon and the cities of the coast beyond the sea." This verse mentions Tire as one of the cities of the coast, along with Sidon, which was also known for his trade.

But you are a man, not a God; no matter how much he is equal to a God. " This verse is an example of the arrogance of shooting and how the city considered itself superior to others, even the gods. Ezekiel's prophecy 27 warns about the disastrous consequences of this kind of thought.
