Ephesians, 2

2. which used to make up your way of life when you were living by the principles of this world, obeying the ruler who dominates the air, the spirit who is at work in those who rebel.

Ephesians 2 talks about salvation by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. The chapter describes how, before salvation, we were dead in our sins and we were objects of the wrath of God, but now, in Christ, we are saved by grace through faith.
