Colossians, 2

18. Do not be cheated of your prize by anyone who chooses to grovel to angels and worship them, pinning every hope on visions received, vainly puffed up by a human way of thinking;

Chapter 2 of Colossians deals with the importance of true wisdom and knowledge of God in contrast to false human philosophies and traditions. Paul warns the Colossians not to be deceived by empty teachings and argues that the fullness of God dwells in Christ. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: "All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, rebuke, correction and instruction in righteousness, for the man of God to be able and fully prepared for all good constructions."
