2 Timothy 3 deals mainly on the dangers of difficult times and the importance of God's Word in the life of the Christian. Based on this, here are five verses related to the topics covered in this chapter:
Proverbs 1:7: "The fear of the Lord is the principle of knowledge, but the foolishness despises wisdom and discipline." This verse shows the importance of the Lord's fear in the life of the Christian, for it is through him that we get the knowledge and wisdom we need to face the challenges of difficult times.
Psalm 119:105: "Lamp for my feet is your word, and light to my way." This verse highlights the importance of God's Word in the life of the Christian, for it is the source of guidance and direction to face difficult times.
John 16:33: "In the world you will have afflictions; however, have the mood! I have overcome the world." This verse reminds us that we will face difficulties in this life, but we can have courage and hope because Jesus has already overcome the world.
