Matthew 23:23: "Woe to you, scribes, and Pharisees, hypocrites! " In this verse Jesus rebukes the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and neglecting the most important precepts of the law. He emphasizes the need to do the most important things, such as justice, mercy, and faith.
