Joshua, 10

11. And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, [and] were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: [they were] more which died with hailstones than [they] whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.

Joshua chapter 10 describes the conquest of several cities by the Israelite army, including the battle against the five Amorite kings who joined to fight Gibeom. God helped the Israelites overcome the battle and even made the sun stop in heaven to give them more time to complete the victory. Here are five verses related to the topics addressed in Joshua 10:

Exodus 23:28: "And I will send Wasp before you, that they may launch the Heveus, the Canaanites, and the Hites from before you." This verse relates to God's supernatural help in the struggle against the enemies of the Israelites in Canaan.

Deuteronomy 3:22: "Not themselves, because the Lord your God is the one who fights for you." This verse relates to Israelites' trust in God's help during the battle against the five Amorites kings.

Psalm 18:39: "There is also the shield of your salvation; your right hand sustained me, and your meekness has magnified me." This verse relates to God's protection over the Israelites during battle and how he sustained them and saved them.

Isaiah 30:29: "You shall have a song as in the night of a holy feast; and joy of heart, like the one who goes with flute, to enter the mound of the Lord, to the rock of Israel." This verse relates to the celebration of the Israelites after their victory over the enemies and how they gave graces and praise to God.

Psalm 46:10: "Issoid and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted upon the earth." This verse relates to God's sovereignty over all nations, and how exalted He is in his works, such as the help he gave to the Israelites during battle.
