Ephesians, 1

Ephesians 1 deals mainly on the election and predestination of believers in Christ, redemption through their blood and the revelation of the mystery of God's will. Next are five verses from other Bible books that relate to the topics addressed in Ephesians 1.
Romans 8:29-30: "For those who have known, also predestined them to be conforming to the image of his son, that he may be the firstborn among many brothers. And to those who predestined, they also called them; and which he called, they also justified; and those who justified them also glorified. " This verse shows that God has predestined those He called to be compounded in the image of His Son. This is related to the theme of predestination in Ephesians 1.
1 Peter 1:18-19: "You know it was not with corruptible things, such as silver or gold, that you were rescued from your vain way of living that you have received from your parents, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a one lamb without defect and without stain. " This verse talks about redemption through the blood of Christ, which is an important theme in Ephesians 1.
Romans 16:25:25-26: "Now to the one who is powerful to confirm to you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that has been hidden from eternal times, but now has been manifest and through Prophetic Scriptures, according to the commandment of the eternal God, made known to all nations to obedience of faith. " This verse talks about the revelation of the mystery of God's will, which is also an important theme in Ephesians 1.
Colossians 1:13-14: "He took us out of the power of darkness, and transported us to the kingdom of the Son of his love; in which we have redemption for his blood, namely the remission of sins." This verse talks about redemption through the blood of Christ and the transfer of the believers of the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of his Son. This is related to the themes of redemption and election in Ephesians 1.
Romans 9:11-13: "For they have not yet been born, not having done well or evil (so that God's purpose, according to the election, would be firm, not because of the works, but by the one who calls), He was told to her, The greatest will serve the smallest. As it is written, I loved Jacob, but I hated Esau. " This verse talks about Jacob's election over Esau, which is related to the theme of election in Ephesians 1.
